      IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL BMC MEMBERS
     
             
            This is to inform all the members of Bangalore Mountaineering Club (BMC) that Mayuresh Kapote is NO longer working with BMC in the capacity of Treasurer or as an Event Coordinator nor does he represent BMC or me in any way.

            He was a trusted friend and relative who joined as a volunteer at BMC and later became a salaried employee but while I was out of the country for 4 months, there was one lakh Rupees missing from the BMC funds for which he did not have any accountability or explanation thus breaking my trust and confidence in him and causing great financial and mental stress for BMC, my family and me. He abruptly resigned on June 14th 2008, taking with him all the confidential data and he is misusing this information by trying to open a new venture on his own.

            Since this incident is a case of fraudulence, it may take a legal turn. Hence I  kindly request all the BMC members to restrain any kind of communication with him and I hold no responsibility for his interactions with any of you from now on. I thank you all for your wonderful support you have shown so far and each one of you is responsible for the success and respect BMC has earned over the last four years.
            Since many of you have interacted and known him personally, I felt it's my moral responsibility to owe you an explanation for his abrupt exit.

            I have built BMC out of sheer passion and hard work and I strive very hard to keep it a non-profit organization so that everybody can experience the  joy of outdoor living  as much as I have.I hope to surpass this hurdle and continue to have many more activities for a very very long time.
