Scuba Diving and Snorking event @ Netrani Island [21-22-23rd Dec 2007]

Netrani Island ( Netragudo):

Locally known as Netragudo.The tiny uninhabited Island of Netrani lies 10 nautical miles off the coastal Light House of Bhatkal.With depths ranging from 6 to 40 meters, and visibility between 15 to 30 meters, this island offers excellent diving suitable for certified divers of all experience levels. Netrani is not only home to the great diversity of fish life common to Goa and the Arabian Sea, it is also well known for regular sightings of Turtles, Napoleon Wrasse, Great Barracuda, Cobia, White and Black Tip Sharks, Stingrays and Stonefish. Imagine Grand Central Station in rush hour!

Murdeshwar: (Optional visiting place)

About 16 Kms. from Bhatkal, we come across  the  holy place called Murdeshwar, famous for gorgeous temple  and the beautiful sea shore. the temple, which embodies a Linga, is believed to have erupted when Ravana flung  the Atmalinga at Gokarna while lifting it. As one ascends the hillock, there is a shrine of Jattiga seated on a horse.

Route: Bangalore -Mangalore - Bhatkal, Around 495 Kms from Bangalore. 
 

Tentative Schedule:  

20th Dec 2007
11:30 PM - 1st Pickup at 100ft & CMH Road junction Signal (KFC)
11:50 PM - 2nd Pickup at Symphony Theater. Being a night time we will also pickup people on the route of journy.
            

21st Dec 2007
03:00PM - Reach Murudeshwar
04:00PM - Swimming pool Session for Scuba divers
08:00PM - Book and Check-in in Hotel (Twinsharing basis)

22st Dec 2007
07:00AM - Start from Murudeshwar to Netrani Island by Boat
09:00AM - Start Scuba diving and Snokrling activity in water.
03:00PM - Return to the land, Freshup, goto Murudeshwar Temple or Roam in the City etc.
08:00PM - Depart to Bangalore.

23rd Dec 2007
11:00AM - Reach back to Bangalore.

Things to carry:
Warm cloths, extra pair of shorts/t-shirt, slippers, sunscreen lotion, camera.

Expenses:
Charges: Rs. 2,500.00 + one of the option from a) to c)
- Above Charges are inclusive of: Transport from Bangalore to Murudeshwar and Back to Bangalore, Accomodation on Twin sharing basis, Boat for Netrani Island trip for entire day, Food on the boat, Life Jackets, sports equipments. 
- Above Charges does NOT include break fast, lunch and dinner. People will be spending money for Breakfast, lunch and dinner from pocket in the hotels on the way or at Murudeshwar.

    - 1 Swimming pool session
    - 2 Dives at Netrani Island
b) Discover Dives: Rs. 3000.00
    - 1 Swimming pool session
    - 1 Dive at Netrani Island 
c) Snorkeling: Rs. 750.00
    - Snorkeling at Netrani Island 

NOTE: For any option you are choosing from A to C you have add Rs. 2500.00 to it while transfering it to our Bank
